There’s no rate transparency in freight. You never know what the shipper paid or how much the broker kept—you only see what’s left, and it’s usually not enough.
That changes here. When you move loads through our shipper network, you get full rate transparency: you see what the shipper paid, our modest fee, and what you keep.
If you’re a Co-Pilot customer, you’ll also get an expense and profit breakdown for every load, so you know exactly what you’ll make before you commit.
Is Bond a freight broker, insurance broker, dispatcher, or all three?
All three. Bond is fully licensed as a freight broker, insurance broker, and dispatch service. You can use any service on its own or combine them—always your choice.

How does Bond make money?
Insurance: If you buy a policy through Bond, we’re paid a commission by the insurance company—never by you. We never charge any broker or service fees.
Freight: On loads from our shipper network, we charge up to 10% on top of your quoted rate. If a reduction is required, we take it out of our end so you get your full quoted rate.
Dispatch: We charge 5% of the gross rate on the rate confirmation. Co-Pilot+ is a complementary add on for insurance management.

How does rate transparency work?
Every rate confirmation from our shipper network shows what the shipper paid, what Bond earns, and what you take home. We show you the tender and rate confirmation for full transparency.

Do I need to sign a contract?
Yes. Each service requires a signed agreement, but you’re never locked in. You can cancel anytime—no penalties, no fees, no pressure.

Do I have to use Bond for everything?
No. Use Bond for as much or as little as you want—freight, insurance, dispatch. No pressure.

What if I already have a dispatcher?
We can work with you, but Bond delivers the most value when we handle everything end to end. Multiple dispatchers often cause confusion; our approach is all-in, all-clear.

Will I really never have to deal with insurance again?
Yes. With Co-Pilot+, our team handles your entire back office, including all insurance requests—behind the scenes. We take care of quoting, renewals, certificates, endorsements, claims, and even down payment assistance to make starting a new policy easier.

How do you calculate freight rates?
We start with your real expenses—truck payments, insurance, fuel, tolls, maintenance. Every load is priced using actual trip costs and your available hours, so you see the true profit before you accept.
